Gearing Up For 2010 Faculty Week At Ferris State University

It's almost that time of the year as students, faculty and staff are all back on campus here at Ferris State University and working together.

One of the ways Ferris is working to welcome back faculty is through the 2010 Faculty Week, which begins Aug. 23 here on campus. The theme of this year's week is "Student Success: Leaving Nothing to Chance."

Here is additional information about 2010 Faculty Week as described by the Faculty Center for Teaching and Learning at Ferris.

The theme for the 2010 Faculty Week and the proposed activities, therefore, are intended to:
  • broaden and deepen the University community’s knowledge of contemporary definitions, challenges and opportunities, and practices and strategies related to student success and retention; and

  • provide specific examples and practical “next-steps” that will assist the University in general and faculty teams in particular to enhance student success and retention.
