Michael Kent (Feb. 3)

Ferris State University will host Comic Magician Michael Kent; he will be performing at Williams Auditorium at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 3.

Kent combines sarcasm with a sense of humor much like the style of a late night talk show host. Students should come to be entertained, the potential to be part of a show is always a thrill and each student will get the chance to see two shows in one, with a comedian who does amazing magic.

Entertainment Unlimited chose Kent because of the unique way he interacts with the audience. Kent is also a very down-to-earth and has a personable stage presence; he is a role model of a performer. Kent first became interested in magic when he learned he was able to disappear by covering his eyes.

“He manages to provide an entertaining and highly engaging show that makes viewers feel they are 'in on it' - that they are being shown secrets of the magician world, only to discover the 'unveiling' is in fact a show in itself,” Junior, Amber Porter said.

Dave, a former audience member from Indiana University said, “Michael Kent is truly an original at getting laughs! He is one of the most wildly entertaining.”

This event is sponsored by Entertainment Unlimited and is FREE thanks to Student Activity Fees. For more information contact Amber Porter at 1-616-232-0949.
