Hometown Recruiter Program Informational Sessions Feb. 3 and Feb. 24
Current students have the opportunity to spread their Ferris State University charm throughout their hometowns by becoming a part of the Hometown Recruiter Program.
An informational session will be held on Feb. 3 and Feb. 24 at 11 a.m. in IRC 120 for any interested recruiters.
More than 50 students are currently involved with the volunteer program. With a recruiters input, future students are provided with a connection to the Ferris community and are shown a sneak peek of what their college life could be filled with.
By speaking at their old high schools, Hometown Recruiters will improve their public speaking abilities and advance their leadership skills. Recruiters will share their positive experiences acquired through their Ferris journey, while earning volunteer hours for their efforts.
The Hometown Recruiter Program is sponsored by the Admissions Office.
