Ferris and Big Rapids High School Team Up For A Great Time In Traverse City

A spirit of community bonds Ferris State University and Big Rapids together ... even beyond the geographic borders of home.

A group of Big Rapids High School band students helped represent Ferris in the 2011 DTE Cherry Royale Parade as part of the National Cherry Festival. The students learned and played the Ferris fight song as well as other songs to fire up the enthusiasm of the crowd in Traverse City earlier this month.

Youth was served for Ferris State University at the parade in Traverse City.

All aboard. Band members get set to play some peppy songs in Traverse City at the 2011 National Cherry Festival Parade.
