Entertainment Unlimited Presents: Tom Deluca, the Hypnotist

Tom Deluca is returning to Ferris State University’s Williams Auditorium stage for his breathtaking hypnotist act. His performance will begin at 7:00 p.m. on Dec. 6. 

Tom Deluca recognizes the importance of the imagination and shows America how valuable a tool it can be.

Deluca has toured the country performing his Corporate Hypnosis show and Power Napping for Less Stress Workshop, to illustrate to others the power of the imagination.

Deluca was voted the four-time college entertainer of the year.

Black Student Union, Ferris State Chapter presents: State of the Black Student

State of the Black Student is an event that is devoted to seeking change of issues that affect minority students on Ferris State University’s campus.
On Wednesday, Dec. 7, Black Student Union (BSU) is hosting this event in IRC 120 at 7 p.m. 
This event will present a wide variety of topics that affect minority students such as their role at this university, how to make a difference on campus, decorum and much more. 
State of the Black Student is a discussion to address the issues that are effecting and preventing success amongst the minority students at Ferris State University. Being a minority on this campus, what affects one, affects all,” said Breanna Alexander, BSU president.
Some of the goals of BSU are to promote and encourage scholarship, professionalism, community service, and knowledge of current events which contribute to being a successful college student.
“This discussion will be a teaching and learning experience,” Alexander said.
Students are asked to attend the event with an open mind and a plan to make a change.

Faces of Ferris Video Feature: Brandi Behrenwald

Ferris State University has a lot of dedicated and hard-working employees putting their talents to work to show case the good things that are happening.

One of those individuals is Brandi Behrenwald, assistant director of Alumni Relations at Ferris. Student videographer Angie Walukonis had a chance to chat with Brandi about some of the projects that she is involved in on campus with our alumni and our students.

W. Kamau Bell is being featured tonight, as a campus 5-star event, on the topic of "Ending Racism in About an Hour." The event begins at 7 p.m. and it is free and open to the public.

This event is free thanks to support from the Finance Division of Student Government.

Ferris State University's Student Government is continuing its annual Holiday Food Drive through Dec. 5.
