Turn Up the Good to Give Away Free Tickets Today

The Turn Up the Good team is giving five free tickets today to lucky contestants who can answer questions based on electronic music.

The questions will be posted randomly throughout today and the first person to comment with the correct answer will win a free ticket.

For those who aren't so lucky tickets can be purchased at the Rankin Student Center, Wink Arena box office, or at www.startickets.com. Tickets are $10 for the general public and $5 for students with valid student I.D.

The event takes place Thursday, April 4 at Wink Arena. The doors open at 6 p.m. and the show begins at 7 p.m. Performers include: GRiZ, Break Science, and The Floozies.

Business Communication Certificate - Get it TONIGHT!

Tonight from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. in IRC 115, students can attend a session to better their communication skills. This includes networking, interviewing, marketing yourself, public speaking, and so much more! There will also be a guest speaker, Bill Van Steenis, who is the author of the book "In Demand: How to Get Hired, Develop Your Career and Always Be Successful." Attendees will be provided with a copy of the book.

In today's world, putting yourself out there and being able to effectively talk and communicate with others is incredibly important. Attending this session will get you a certificate that will look great on a resume and could possibly help you land the job or internship you've been searching for.
