Founder's Day

Ferris State University will host this year's Founders Day on Thursday, Aug. 29 from 3-7 p.m. in the North Campus Quad.

Sponsored by the Buldog Beginnings Team, Founders' Day is open to both students and the public. There will novelties such s laser tag, a giant slide and bouncy bowling, 5-Star RSO's, select Human Service Agencies, and ice-cream social, as well as being the kick-off for Big Rapids River Days.

Bulldog Beats and Eats Cancelled

The Bulldog Beats and Eats event that was scheduled for Wednesday, Aug. 3 at 4 p.m. has been cancelled. The artist Matt Austin is ill and will be unable to perform. We are sorry for an inconvenience this may have caused and hope that you will join us on Sept. 3rd for the next Bulldog Beats and Eats, as well as, future events.

Bulldog Beats and Eats

The Ferris State University Center for Leadership, Activities, and Career Services and The Rock Cafe are teaming up to present Bulldog Beats and Eats. This event will be the last in the Summer Series and will be open to students, as well as, the public.

The event will take place from 4 to 7 p.m. in the South Quad, outside the Rock Cafe. The concert will be featuring Matt Austin a country artist from Detroit. He integrates his upbringing of Southern and Blues Rock and "New Age Detroit Country Rock." The Rock Cafe will be grilling up some picnic favorites to enjoy during the concert that can be eaten on the lawn. The cost for all off campus diners will be $9.25, all on campus diners can use their meal plan.

If  there is a weather related cancellation, it will be posted on the Center for Leadership, Activities, and Career Services Facebook page.

So bring your blankets and chairs and join us as we close out the Summer Series and welcome in the new school year.
