BIG RAPIDS - The third-annual Susan P. Wheatlake Cancer and Wellness Walk will be held Saturday, May 16, in Big Rapids.

Registration begins at 9 a.m. at the Comstock House B&B, 414 Maple St. There will be a ribbon-cutting at 9:45 a.m., followed by the walk along the Riverwalk. The walk is at one's own pace and distance. The registration fee/donation is $10 per walker with children 12 and under free.

Highlights include a Celebration of Hope finish with guest speaker Dr. Tracy Morningstar, a local chiropractor, who will talk about wellness. There will also be a 50/50 raffle, silent auction, music and lunch for purchase.
